Draft Corporate Plan 2019-2024

Local Government is the main vehicle of governance and public service at a local level with Limerick City and County Council providing hundreds of services to the citizens of Limerick. Limerick City and County Council’s Corporate Plan is a strategic framework for actions over a 5 year period and is a central component of our business architecture, linking policy, organisational activity, governance and performance management and actions.

The legislative provisions are set out in Section 134 of the Local Government Act as amended. In accordance with this legislation this strategic plan is being prepared following an extensive consultation process and review by the Council’s Corporate Policy Group and is subject to approval by the elected members.

As part of our ongoing commitment to  citizen engagement, Limerick City and County Council is seeking input from the citizens of Limerick on the creation of our new Corporate Plan and we would welcome your comments and observations.

In this regard, you are now invited to submit your comments in relation to the mission statement, vision, values, strategic goals and objectives outlined.
