DRAFT DEVELOPMENT CONTRIBUTION SCHEME 2025-2031
SECTION 48(4) PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT ACT 2000 (as amended)
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 48(4) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), that Limerick City & County Council has prepared a Draft Development Contribution Scheme for the functional area of Limerick City and County Council for the period 2025-2031.
Copies of the Draft Development Contribution Scheme, showing specific details of the Draft Scheme are available for public inspection at the following locations during normal working hours from 21st June 2025 – 5th August 2025 inclusive:

Limerick City and County Council Corporate Headquarters, Merchants Quay, Limerick;

Limerick City and County Council, County Hall, Dooradoyle, Limerick;

Newcastle West Municipal Office, Áras William Smith O’Brien, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick;

Cappamore – Kilmallock Municipal District Office, Áras Mainchin Seoighe, Millmount, Kilmallock,

Rathkeale Library and Area Office, New Line, Englishtenements, Rathkeale, Co. Limerick
The Draft Scheme will also be available in Limerick City & County Council Libraries, in Dooradoyle, Watch House Cross, Newcastle West and Kilmallock.

Making a Submission
Limerick City and County Council hereby invites any interested parties to make a submission/observation on the Draft Development Contribution Scheme 2025-2031, via the following mediums, between the 21/06/2025 – 05/08/2025 inclusive:

Please make your submission by one medium only, i.e. hard copy, email or website. Written submissions or observations with respect to the Draft Development Contribution Scheme that are made to the Planning Authority within the period stated will be taken into consideration before the making of the Scheme.
