Electric Vehicle Parking Bye-Laws in the Municipal District of Cappamore-Kilmallock

Municipal District of Cappamore-Kilmallock 

(Parking Places)(Amendment) Bye-Laws 2020

 

Notice is hereby given that the Municipal District of Cappamore-Kilmallock, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 36 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994 (No. 7 of 1994) and Section 131 A and Schedule 14 A Part 1 of the Local Government Act, 2001 (No. 37 of 2001) proposes to make the Municipal District of Cappamore-Kilmallock (Parking Places)(Amendment) Bye-Laws 2020 in relation to parking fees for electrically powered vehicles. 

The Draft Bye-Laws will be on public display during office opening hours from Saturday 1st August, 2020 until 4p.m. on Tuesday 1st September, 2020 at Áras Mainchín Seoighe, Millmount, Kilmallock, V35 K497.  Draft Bye-Laws are available for inspection on the Council’s website www.limerick.ie and are also available free of charge on request at the Limerick City and County Council Offices at Merchant’s Quay, Limerick V94 EH90; Dooradoyle Road, Limerick V94 WV78; and at Áras Mainchín Seoighe, Millmount, Kilmallock, V35 K497.  

Submissions and observations may be made in the following manner:

1. In writing to the Director of Service, Physical Development Directorate, Limerick City and County Council Offices, Merchants Quay, Limerick, V94 EH90 until 5 p.m. on Tuesday 15th September 2020

2. By email to evparkingck@limerick.ie until 5 p.m. on Tuesday 15th September 2020

3. By making a submission on MyPoint until 5 p.m. on Tuesday 15th September 2020

On MyPoint, you will be asked to comment on the following question:

"Having read the draft bye-laws, do you have any comments or observations on their content?"

 

The Draft Bye-Laws can be read in the "Materials" section of this consultation. 

 

The Council will consider all submissions received during the stated period.
