To summarise:

• This consultation will remain open for submissions until January 11th, 2026.
• Key themes and recommendations will be recorded, and data will be collated / analysed
• Consultation Report(s) and Draft of Limerick City and County Council Bye-laws 2026 will be published on MyPoint for further public review
• Final draft to be prepared and circulated to Elected Members of Limerick City and County Council
• Final draft to be presented to Council in Q3 2026 for ratification

We look forward to drafting a set of bye-laws for cemeteries which will continue to be clear, compassionate, and effective for the management of cemeteries for the foreseeable future.
