DRAFT ROAD TRAFFIC SPECIAL SPEED LIMIT BYE-LAWS 2023

(30Km/hr Limerick City Centre Speed Limit)

Limerick City and County Council has, in exercise of its powers under Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004 (no.44 of 2004); as amended by Section 86 of the Road Traffic Act 2010 and having consulted with An Garda Siochána, hereby gives notice of its intention to make Speed Limit Bye-Laws in respect of the area comprising the administrative area of the County of Limerick. The purpose of these Bye-Laws is to provide for a 30km/hr Limerick City Centre Speed Limit.

A copy of the draft Bye-Laws and Drawings will be available online for inspection from Friday, 24^th March 2023 up to and including Friday 28^th  April 2023, at the following locations during the times and dates indicated

Submissions or representations may be made in writing to the Senior Engineer, Roads, Traffic and Cleansing, Limerick City & County Council, Dooradoyle Road, Dooradoyle, Limerick or by email to speedlimitsreview@limerick.ie, not later than 4.00pm Friday 28^th April 2023.
