Limerick City and County Council are currently developing design proposals for the Market Quarter and Cruise's Street Public Realm Upgrades project and are seeking your input on the emerging layouts. Please join us in the Citizen Innovation Lab in the UL City Centre Campus, Sarsfield Street on the 24th of September 2024 to share your thoughts and suggestions on the project.
What are we doing?
Limerick City and County Council are currently developing design proposals for the Market Quarter and Cruise's Street Public Realm Upgrades project. The project aims to realise a long-term ambition and strategic goal of increasing investment, occupancy, development and economic growth in the Market Quarter and Cruise's Street by providing a high-quality public realm that supports the operations of The Milk Market and other local businesses in the area. Additionally, the project aims to improve connectivity, accessibility and wayfinding between O'Connell Street, Opera Square, Arthur's Quay and the Milk Market and increase investment, safety, footfall and vibrancy in the area.
How can you help?
We want to explore how we might make this key part of the city centre a more attractive, vibrant and better functioning place for all its users. Your views and experience help us understand the full range of opportunities and challenges the area faces.
The Exhibition
The display provides background information on the project, drawings and visualisations of the emerging designs and the opportunity to contribute your views and feedback.
We look forward to meeting you on Tuesday 24th September 2024 and hearing your views on the future of the Market Quarter.
Online Submissions
For those unable to attend in person, online submissions can be made via MyPoint. Online submissions accepted up to and including 9th October 2024.
