DRAFT ROAD TRAFFIC SPECIAL SPEED LIMIT BYE-LAWS 2022

 

Limerick City and County Council has, in exercise of its powers under Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004 (no.44 of 2004); as amended by Section 86 of the Road Traffic Act 2010 and having consulted with An Garda Siochána, hereby gives notice of its intention to make Speed Limit Bye-Laws in respect of the area comprising the administrative area of the County of Limerick. Following on from a number of Speed Limit Appeals as per the Department of Transport Speed Limits Appeals Procedure the purpose of these Bye-Laws is to provide adjustments for speed limits at the following locations:

  1. Ferrybridge

  2. Ballybrown

  3. Feenagh

A copy of the draft Bye-Laws and Drawings will be available online for inspection from Wednesday 23rd November 2022 up to and including the Tuesday 3rd January 2023 at the following locations during the times and dates indicated

Submissions or representations may be made in writing to the Senior Engineer, Roads, Traffic and Cleansing, Limerick City & County Council, Dooradoyle Road, Dooradoyle, Limerick, by email to speedlimitsreview@limerick.ie or online at https://mypoint.limerick.ie not later than 4.00pm Tuesday 3rd January 2023.
