Proposed Footpath Improvement Works on the
L8547 Ballyorgan, Co. Limerick
Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Limerick City & County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road layout amendments on the L8547, in Ballyorgan, Co. Limerick
Installation of new 1.8 meter wide footpath through the village
Installation of new drainage works
Install new tactile paving and drop kerbs
Install new road markings etc.
Upgrade of existing public lighting
The works will involve the construction and installation of new 1.8 meter footpath through the village, road markings, tactile paving, drainage works, upgrading of existing public lighting and associated works.
Drawings and particulars of the proposed project are available for inspection at Kilmallock Area Office, Railway Rd, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick (V35 K497) and may be inspected during normal office hours from Friday 27th of June to Friday 25th of July 2025 inclusive. They are also available for inspection online during the above timeframe at https://mypoint.limerick.ie
Submissions or observations regarding the proposal may be made in writing to the above office or online at https://mypoint.limerick.ie on or before 5pm, Friday the 25th of July 2025.
