PEDESTRIANISATION OF PART OF GLENTWORTH MEWS USING BOLLARDS
This project is to achieve pedestrianisation of a section of the laneway at Glentworth Mews L-10355, to allow for safer transition by members of the public and to allow for occasional animation within the laneway. The laneway will have bollards installed on the intersection of Catherine Street and Glentworth Mews and within Glentworth Mews to close off the 55m section on the Northwest to Southeast leg to vehicles.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994, as amended by Section 46 of the Public Transportation Regulation Act 2009, Limerick City and County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to install bollards on the laneway at L10355 Glentworth Mews, Prior’s Land, Limerick.
Drawings and particulars indicating the proposals are available for inspection in the public display area, Limerick City & County Council, Merchant’s Quay, Limerick, V94 EH90 and, at Limerick City & County Council Offices, Dooradoyle Road, Limerick V94WV78 and at https://mypoint.limerick.ie from Friday 3rd of April to Friday the 1st of May 2026 inclusive.
Submissions regarding the proposal may be made;
in writing to the Executive Engineer, City Centre Response Team, Limerick City and County Council, City Hall, Merchant’s Quay, Englishtown, Limerick V94 EH90 or
