Public Notice in Compliance with the Road Traffic Act 1994 (Section 38) as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46)

Proposed Minor Connectivity Works, Hyde Road Park, Limerick City (R-858)   

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Limerick City & County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road amendments at Hyde Road Park, (R-858), Limerick City.

• Install new road markings,
• Install new tactile paving,
• Install new shared pathway,
• Extension of existing cycle lanes,
• Bus stop relocation,
• Existing crossings to be upgraded to toucan crossings and tactiles updated to match

Drawings and particulars of the proposed project are available for inspection at

• Limerick City & Co. Council, City Hall, Merchants Quay (V94 EH90)
• Limerick City & Co. Council, County Hall, Dooradoyle Road, Limerick (V94 WV78)

and may be inspected during office hours from Friday 15^th August 2025 to Friday 12^th September 2025 inclusive. They are also available for inspection online during the above timeframe at https://mypoint.limerick.ie 

Submissions or observations regarding the proposal may be made in writing to the above office or online at https://mypoint.limerick.ie on or before 5pm, on Friday 12^th September 2025.
