Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Limerick City & County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road amendments on Bloodmill Road andWindsor Court, Castletroy View, Limerick City.
Realignment of existing road markings on Windsor Court, Castletroy View;
Junction tightening for traffic calming at the junction of Bloodmill Road & Castletroy View, including;
Kerb realignment
Footpath widening
New tactile paving
Alterations to existing grassed areas
Removal of existing concrete bollards
Removal of existing yellow box road marking
Removal of existing pedestrian guardrails on Bloodmill Road;
Upgrade of existing pedestrian crossing on Bloodmill Road, to include for new raised zebra crossing;
Associated drainage (gulley relocations).
Drawings and particulars of the proposed project are available for inspection at both Limerick City and County Council, City Hall, Merchants Quay (V94 EH90) and Limerick City and County Council, County Hall, Dooradoyle Road, Dooradoyle, Limerick (V94 WV78) and may be inspected during normal office hours from Friday 27th of June 2025 to Friday 25th of July 2025 inclusive. They are also available for inspection online during the above timeframe at https://mypoint.limerick.ie
