Proposed Footpath Improvement Works on the
R505 Cappamore, Co. Limerick
Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Limerick City & County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road layout amendments on the R505, in Cappamore, Co. Limerick
Installation of new 2 meter wide footpath from Cappamore towards Doon
Install new drop kerbs
Install new road markings etc.
Upgrade of existing public lighting
The works will involve the construction and installation of new 2 meter footpath on the R505 out of Cappamore towards Doon, road markings, upgrading of existing public lighting and associated works.
Drawings and particulars of the proposed project are available for inspection at Kilmallock Area Office, Railway Rd, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick (V35 K497) and may be inspected during normal office hours from Friday 15th of August to Friday 12th of September 2025 inclusive. They are also available for inspection online during the above timeframe at https://mypoint.limerick.ie
Submissions or observations regarding the proposal may be made in writing to the above office or online at https://mypoint.limerick.ie on or before 5pm, Friday the 12th of September 2025.
