Application Process to Purchase a home under the Affordable Home Scheme

at Castle Place, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick 

This Portal will open for applications from 12:00 noon on the 19th December 2025   

Applications for this scheme will be accepted between

12:00 noon on the 19th December to 12:00 noon on the 13th February 2026

Limerick City and County Council, in partnership with Eureka Developments C Ltd., is delighted to announce homes under the Affordable Housing Scheme at Castle Place, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick.

To assist you in determining your gross household income for eligibility for this scheme, information on income that is assessable/not assessable can be obtained from the attached "Affordable Purchase Dwelling Arrangements Income Assessment Policy".

• All questions on this application form must be answered and, where specified, supporting documents must be provided.  Incomplete forms or, those which are not accompanied by the appropriate documents, will not be processed. 
• Any enquiries about the scheme should be addressed to the Affordable Housing Team on 061-557028 or via email to affordable@limerick.ie

• You will need to register or log into your MyPoint Account as part of the application process. You will receive a registration e-mail and you will need to follow the instructions in the e-mail to activate your MyPoint account. Please note: this e-mail may be located in your Spam/Junk Folder.

• Registering for, or logging into a MyPoint Account will allow you to save your application in stages, should you choose to do so (Save Draft).

• You are reminded that date and time of application submission will be one of the criteria on which eligible applications will be prioritised under the Limerick City and County Council Scheme of Priority.
