Limerick City Centre Transport Plan - Survey
Limerick City and County Council (LCCC), in conjunction with the National Transport Authority (NTA) and supported by Jacobs as consultants, have commenced the preparation of the Limerick City Centre Transport Plan (LCCTP), as mandated by Objective TR 046 of the Limerick Development Plan 2022-2028. The Draft LCCTP is scheduled to be published in autumn 2024.
As part of the initial information gathering for the Plan, LCCC has developed a Limerick City Centre Transport Plan (LCCTP) Survey. The primary purpose of this Survey is to collect insights on the existing travel patterns in Limerick City Centre and to explore the views of the people of Limerick as they relate to potential changes to the existing transport network and the rebalancing of road space, including the introduction of bus priority, improved pedestrian facilities and a safer cycling environment.
