Community Representatives seeking selection onto the Limerick Local Community Safety Partnership
This Expression of Interest form will be used to select members of the Limerick Local Community Safety Partnership. An assessment committee will be formed to assess all applications and to identify suitable members.
A key premise of the partnership approach is that every community is different and that the membership seeks to include the broadest of representation across sectoral interests, demographics, and community interests in community safety.
The Partnership will include the following Community Representation:
- Resident Representatives
- Youth Representatives
- Minority/new communities Representatives
- Social Inclusion Sector Representatives from the Community & Voluntary Sector
- Education Representatives
- Business Representatives
The assessments will consider the following criteria: Community Representatives who live or work within the City and County Limerick and who can represent the six electoral areas, communities, and Local Community Safety Partnership target groups. We would like to achieve a balanced and representative Local Community Safety Partnership, where possible, and welcome nominations from a wide range of individuals, who represent both groups and/or themselves as residents.
