Project Development Measure
Limerick City and County Council invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) for funding from town/village community groups who may have suitable projects for consideration under the Project Development Measure of the Town and Village Renewal Scheme 2025.
The Minister for Rural and Community Development, Dara Calleary, recently announced details of the 2025 Town and Village Renewal Scheme (TVRS) designed to support the revitalisation of rural towns and villages by focusing on stimulating town centre economic and social regeneration. A maximum of 2, Project Development Measure, proposals can be selected for Limerick for progression to application stage. Grant funding is up to a maximum value of €50,000 per application. The maximum TVRS grant level is set at 90% of the total project cost. The remaining 10% match funding must be contributed by the community and/or local authority and/or Philanthropic contributions.
The two Expressions of Interest that are chosen for onward progression to application stage will be selected based on how the proposed project aligns with the objectives of “Our Rural Future – Ireland’s Rural Development Policy 2021-2025” and “Town Centre First – A Policy Approach for Irish Towns”
This Expression of Interest Form will remain open until 12 noon on Friday 16th May 2025.

- It is essential that expressions of interest demonstrate the proposed projects alignment with the objectives of the government policies; “Our Rural Future" which can be viewed here and “Town Centre First” which can be viewed here.
