PROPOSED WORKS CONSISTING OF THE INSTALLATION OF PEDESTRIAN CROSSING FACILITIES AND TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES ON THE N21 AT ABBEYFEALE
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by Section 46 of the Public Transportation Regulation Act 2009, Limerick City & County Council proposes to introduce the following road layout amendments on the N21 at Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick
Install pedestrian crossing
Install new build-outs, replace existing build-outs
Install new traffic calming build-outs
Install new street lighting, upgrading of existing street lighting
Install new road markings
Replace existing footpaths
Provide additional roadside parking
Drawings and particulars of the proposed measures are available for inspection at the following locations:
Newcastle West Municipal District Office, Áras William Smith O’Brien, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick V42 EH73
Mid West National Road Design Office, Lissanalta House, Dooradoyle Road, Dooradoyle, Co. Limerick V94 H5RR
and may be inspected during normal office hours from Friday 16th December 2022 to Friday 27th of January 2023 inclusive (excluding the Christmas period). They are also available for inspection online during the above timeframe at https://mypoint.limerick.ie
Submissions or observations regarding the proposal may be made in writing to the Mid West National Road Design Office, Lissanalta House, Dooradoyle Road, Dooradoyle, Co. Limerick V94 H5RR or online at https://mypoint.limerick.ie on or before5pm, Friday 27th of January 2023.
