PROPOSED LIMERICK CITY 30KPH MULTIPLE JUNCTION PROJECTS
The scheme comprises of the introduction of a 30kmph speed limit in Limerick City Centre with the introduction of additional junction tightening measures at five various identified locations including:
Barrack street & Castle Street junction
Dock Road & Curry Street junction
Quinlan Street & Barrington Street junction
Harstonge Street and O’ Connell Avenue junction
Harstonge Street and Pery Square junction
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994, as amended by Section 46 of the Public Transportation Regulation Act 2009, Limerick City and County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to carry out traffic calming works and install newly proposed junction tightening measures as part of the introduction of a 30kmph speed limit in Limerick City Centre.
Drawings and particulars indicating the proposals are available for inspection at the Customer Services Desks, Limerick City & County Council, Merchant’s Quay, Limerick, V94 EH90 and, at Limerick City & County Council Offices, Dooradoyle Road, Limerick V94WV78 and at https://mypoint.limerick.ie from Friday 5th of May to Friday the 2nd of June 2023 inclusive.
Submissions regarding the proposal may be made;
