Public Consultation for Street Performance and Busker Byelaws
Notice is hereby given that Limerick City and County Council pursuant to Section 199 of the Local Government Act 2001 as amended, and in accordance with Part 19 of the Local Government Act 2001 as amended, proposes to make new byelaws to regulate Street Performances and Buskers within its functional area.
It is proposed to make provision in the byelaws for the imposition of a fixed payment of €75 in respect of a contravention of a byelaw as an alternative to prosecution, as provide for in Section 206 of the Local Government Act 2001.
The Draft Byelaws will be available for public inspection from 1st July, 2024 until 12th August, 2024 during normal opening hours at Limerick City and County Council, City Hall, Merchants Quay and County Hall, Dooradoyle and online at My Point.

Submissions must be received before 16.00 on Monday 12th August 2024.
