Pursuant to the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994, as amended by Section 46 of the Public Transportation Regulation Act 2009, Limerick City and County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to carry out the Installation of retractable bollards at the following junctions:
Denmark St. & Robert St.
Cornmarket Row & High St.
Mungret St. & Mungret Court
Mungret Court & Ellen St.
Carr St. & Ellen St.
These retractable bollards will be in operation every Saturday during the market’s open hours from 8am to 3pm. These bollards will create safe and pedestrian-friendly zones, reducing vehicle access during market hours.
Drawings and particulars indicating the proposals are available for inspection at the Public Display Area, Limerick City & County Council, Merchant’s Quay, Limerick, V94 EH90 and at Limerick City & County Council Offices, Dooradoyle Road, Limerick V94WV78 and at MyPoint from Friday 13th October 2023 to Friday 10th November 2023 inclusive.
Submissions regarding the proposal may be made;
