Transport Plan for Adare - Survey
Limerick City and County Council have commenced the preparation of a Transport Plan for Adare. The strategic aim of the Transport Plan is to provide for the planning and delivery of transport infrastructure and place making in the village.
The plan will assess the existing traffic and movement conditions in the village and surrounding context, inclusive of a parking demand strategy, conditions and controls, will identify key transport interventions for the village, will identify key measures for sustainable and active travel infrastructure, and will facilitate public realm improvements in the village. The delivery of a Transport Plan for the village is an objective (SM 1 Movement and Accessibility) of the Adare Local Area Plan 2024-2030.
In order to carry out an appropriate review of transport conditions and travel patterns in Adare, Limerick City and County Council are inviting local residents and business owners to share their views and participate in an online survey. The findings from this survey will help inform the development of the Transport Plan.
