NOTICE OF PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON DRAFT COUNTY LIMERICK NOISE ACTION PLAN 2024-2028
Submissions are invited from the public on the draft County Limerick Noise Action Plan 2024-2028, prepared under S.I. No. 549 of 2018 (as amended), to address environmental noise in County Limerick outside the Agglomeration of Limerick (as defined in the above regulations), prepared by Limerick City and County Council.
This is a four-year strategic planwith the main purpose to inform and consult the public about the health effects of noise exposure from major roads (as defined in the above regulations) and the measures that may be considered to address this issue in County Limerick. The plan excludes noise from domestic activities, noise created by neighbours, noise at workplaces or noise inside a means of transport or due to military activities in military areas.
The public consultation phase will be open from 9 a.m. Friday 5th April 2024 with the draft plan available for inspection at the following locations.
Limerick City and County Council, County Hall, Dooradoyle Limerick (Mon-Fri, 9a.m.-5p.m.).
Limerick City and County Council, City Hall, Merchants Quay, Limerick (Mon-Fri, 9a.m.-5p.m.).
