Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Limerick City and County Council proposes to introduce traffic calming measures on the LP1315 Boher Bui, at Newcastle West between Knockane Junction (at the Grotto) and the extent of the residential development on left hand side along Monagea road.
The proposed works will involve the provision of footpaths, public lighting and positive drainage as required. This proposal is to provide enhanced safety features on this road which serves the secondary school Scoil Mhuire agus Ide.
Maps showing the location of the proposed works may be inspected at the following location during normal office hours, for a period of one month, from Thursday, 5th of May 2022:
