Chapter 1.Planning documents and report

Ábhair:

With the loss of some of the existing car park, I anticipate gridlock is going to get worse while cars wait their turn to access the reduced dropzone. It has been suggested that local estates could be used for parking but there is no evidence of any safety review of this having occurred. Presently, in the mornings, traffic heading towards Raheen roundabout is often backing up right down to motorway and further up from exit on motorway towards Rosbrien interchange. I predict that this proposal , as currently envisioned will lead to a further deterioration in this. School kids may have no option but to exit cars in the middle of the road - leading to serious safety concerns - particularly those with additional or specical needs. There needs to be meaningful consultation with stakeholders to come up with viable options.

Main opinion:

Viable alternatives for school drop off

Main requests:

Meaningful engagement with all stakeholders
