Negative impact on daily life
These proposals along the S.C.Rd will have a profound negative impact on the day to day lives of residents along the S.C.Rd and those residing on access roads joining on to the S.C.Rd. The removal of existing parking outside our homes without providing adequate alternative parking is totally unacceptable. The idea that residents of who many are quite elderly and vulnerable would be expected to park quite a distance from their homes is quite preposterous and shameful. The residents of Greenpark have already been impacted by a housing development that was granted by Limerick City and Council planning department which when completed will greatly restrict our parking on Greenpark Avenue.
Common sense should prevail and limerick City and Council remove these proposals that have been conceived with total disregard for residents not to mention the stress and anxiety this has already been brought upon them.
