Segregated cycle lanes

I would hope to see that the segregated cycle lane would have sufficient protection for cyclists and prevention from cars parking on the lane. My suggestion would be to have a high raised curbing or planters separating cyclists from traffic. Planters and trees between cyclists and traffic would add to the public realm although road widening may be needed and may not be possible.

Adequate protection for cyclists and pedestrians
Main reasons:
Resident in the city, would like to have a more accessible city less dependant on cars.
