Chapter 1 - Planning Application Form and Notices

My main concern with this proposal is safety,

Both for ourselves as a resident of no9 Corbally Rd,other road users and pedestrians cyclists etc using the residential side of the new proposal.

At present with care we can access our property by reversing into same,so we are in a position that allows us to always drive out into the road/traffic not reversing out into the flow of traffic.Your proposal of planters would not allow this to happen in a “safe and reasonable manner “ and your responsibility of “duty of care “to us and all residents and users of Corbally Road could not be fulfilled properly.

At the Bishops field why not put a path behind the existing stone wall and leave the wall in situ, the pathway from the Mill Road to the Corbally Road is a big step back in time as regards anti social behaviour we can remember the Garda helicopter over the school when dealing with this issue “this is fact”.

In the course of all of this none of the residents of the Corbally Road were asked for opinions contributions to the proposal’s.The parents of the children of Scoil Ide were asked to contribute,my point here being if they obeyed the rules of the road at school times the problem might not be what we are facing now, where are they going to park if the proposal goes ahead,
