Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Limerick City & County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road amendments on Greenmount Avenue (L-10424), adjacent to R-509 Childers Road, Limerick City.
Footpath widening works
Upgrade to two existing Pedestrian crossings
Provision of new Bus Lay-by and Bus Shelter
Relocation of entrance/exit from Greenmount Avenue (L-10465) to Childers Road (R509)
Restriction of traffic to one-way for a portion of Greenmount Avenue (L-10465)
Modifications and improvements to road markings, signs and drainage
Drawings and particulars of the proposed project are available for inspection at both Limerick City and County Council, City Hall, Merchants Quay (V94 EH90) and Limerick City and County Council, County Hall, Dooradoyle Road, Dooradoyle, Limerick (V94 WV78) and may be inspected during normal office hours from Friday 2nd of February to Friday 1st March 2024 inclusive. They are also available for inspection online during the above timeframe at https://mypoint.limerick.ie
