Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Limerick City & County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road amendments on Laurel Hill Avenue (L-10424), South Circular Road Limerick City.
Install 3 number build out areas for traffic calming
Install raised table area at the school entrance gates
Install new raised pedestrian crossing and raised table at the entrance to Laurel Hill Avenue
Install new tactile paving,
Install prohibitory signage restricting traffic to “local access only” during school operational times
Drawings and particulars of the proposed project are available for inspection at both Limerick City and County Council, City Hall, Merchants Quay (V94 EH90) and Limerick City and County Council, County Hall, Dooradoyle Road, Dooradoyle, Limerick (V94 WV78) and may be inspected during normal office hours from Friday 26th of January to Friday 23rd of February 2024 inclusive. They are also available for inspection online during the above timeframe at https://mypoint.limerick.ie
Submissions or observations regarding the proposal may be made in writing to the above office or online at https://mypoint.limerick.ie on or before 5pm on Friday 23rd of February 2024.
